and I am still not ready for cold weather
Last week was hard week for us. Tanya and I got sick together. The famous influenza, but this time really hard one. We had fever all the time like a never ending sick. Spent few hours in emergency room for Tanya and spent too much, luckily every test (X-ray, blood test (twice >_<), tube test through the nose-throat-stomach) that she had through gave normal result. I didn’t go to work for few days, and now back with tons of things to do :(. Now, we are recovering but pushing ourself to have normal life again.
I supposed to post this pictures above last week, but there was no atmosphere for that. These pictures of Tanya just remind me that she has grown so fast…
Pictures taken on January 31, 2014
It was the first freezing day at Seoul (-5 deg) but no snow yet. Winter STARTED!
I was quite numb, so as Tanya…but she just wanted to go out. Spent sometimes to my husband’s lab to check his experiment (geezzz little bit missing the experiment, at least now) and dragged ourself into the pond around institute. This institute has quite nice surrounding, besides the facilities. After not so long, we just wanted to go home to get some warms.
Btw, Tanya doesn’t smile easily. Don’t worry, it’s not because she hates you, it’s just her face default :D.
Again, I don’t really write. I prefer to put few words on story and more on snaps..
My favorite season thru’ all is autumn. Just love the gloomy and the colors. The combination between red-orange-brown of leaves with the afternoon light will deliver a dramatic mood through the pictures. Is that too much? I hope not. Lucky I arrived here in Seoul exactly this season, but sadly soon it will end and start to be -20 degree that stick my bones :(.
